Pupils from Sycamore Academy Donate to the Local Food Bank

24th June 2016

Pupils at Sycamore Academy recently celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday by holding a picnic lunch, all the children dressed in red and white for the occasion and each donated £1.

The children thought it was important to support their local community with the money they had raised and decided to buy food items to give to their local food bank.

The food bank was very grateful for the kind donation and proud that the idea of donating had come from the children.
