Curriculum

At L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, our academies provide a broad and balanced curriculum that is implemented through clearly identified pedagogical approaches that are tailored to the needs of our pupils.

Each of our academies has developed a comprehensive curriculum that follows a series of Trust-wide guiding principles. These principles are designed to ensure the curriculum is ambitious and progressive, and meets the needs of our local community, while also adhering to the requirements of the National Curriculum.

The curriculum identifies the unique disciplines of each subject and ensures that pupils systematically build knowledge as they progress through their time in the Trust. This is achieved through the implementation of a series of well-sequenced lessons that enable pupils to make connections between different subjects to deepen their understanding.

For further information about each specific academy’s curriculum, please refer to their website.

We encourage our academies to develop the whole pupil.
